What is your proudest moment with Valeo?
"Being a leader for my team last year that was mostly 6th and 7th graders. I was able to change their mindset on how we should play as a team and it was a nice moment to experience."
What are your soccer goals?
"Step up my skills and shot. Be a leader for my team this season!"
What challenges have you overcome?
"My main challenge for awhile was knowing who I was as a soccer player. I figured that step out and now I try to improve every time I touch the ball at practice/games/home."
Favorite Valeo coach?
"Katy Labella or Jason! Edson is also super fun and he pushes me to be best self as a player."
Favorite professional player?
" My favorite professional player is either Carli Lloyd or Alex Morgan!"
During this COVID-19 downtime, Kayla is staying super active! Whether it's going to her high school every day to pass around/take shots or dribbling and juggling around her house! That's what we like to hear!
