[Boston, MA – July 25, 2024] – Valeo Futbol is proud to announce its official partnership with the Desilus Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Donnet Desilus, former Captain of the Haitian National Team. The Desilus Foundation is dedicated to supporting economically disadvantaged children by providing them with food, clothing, academic, and athletic equipment and support. Operating in both Boston, Massachusetts and in Haiti, the Foundation has been a pillar of support for many young lives.
Valeo Futbol has a long-standing relationship with the Desilus Foundation, dating back to 2016. Over the years, Valeo Futbol has actively participated in annual “back to school” drives, providing essential school supplies, soccer gear, and equipment to student athletes on the island of Haiti. This enduring partnership reflects a shared commitment to uplifting communities and nurturing the potential of young people.
The latest initiative of this partnership focuses on supporting young people in inner-city Boston, ensuring they have the necessary academic supplies, support, and athletic equipment to participate in sports. The new collaboration will see both entities developing training programs to foster engagement, providing access and opportunities, and improving health and wellness.
