KINGSTON, JAMAICA — April 17, 2022 — Valeo Futbol Club (VFC), a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit sports education and training organization, is thrilled to announce the successful completion of its groundbreaking Youth Development Soccer League, held in partnership with the Kingston and St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) from March to July 2022. This league marked a significant milestone as the first organized youth soccer competition following the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Youth Development Soccer League, aimed at players aged 11 to 17, saw the participation of over 1000 young athletes who dedicated themselves to the beautiful game throughout the four-month journey. VFC’s unwavering commitment to fostering competitive athletes, outstanding citizens, and strong leaders was evident throughout the tournament.
