Diogo has been playing with Valeo for 2 years! We are extremely impressed with his dedication and the hard work he brings to the club. We sat down with Diogo virtually to see what he's been up to!
What is your favorite moment with Valeo?
"I don’t have a favorite certain moment but the far away tournaments are always the best, always make the best memories there."
What are your soccer goals?
"I wanna make it as far as I possibly can and be the best player I can possibly be."
What challenges have you overcome?
"My hardest challenge was injury when I first started Valeo but the team was very comforting about it and they let me fully heal and come back stronger. Also I had to change my position and at first it was hard to get used to but coach helped me out and now I know how to play that position."
Favorite professional player?
"Ronaldo"
Favorite Valeo coach?
"Coach Wagner"
During this COVID-19 downtime, Diogo is making sure he stays in great shape! After school he's going outside after school to work on his juggling, touch, passing, and shooting. He's also safely going on runs around his neighborhood and does agility drills. Keep up the good work!
